Market Activity Report- January 5 – 11, 2009

Activity is picking up as evidenced by the number of new listings below. However, I’ll caution that roughly half of these are “freshened” listings, and though I like to pick through them and only display the truly “new”, scheduling did not allow me to do that for you today.

It’s Christmas, there is a foot of snow on the ground, and, yes, the market is slow. It is very typical that during the two weeks that kids are out of school and families are gathering, that the market creeps along. I believe the market will pick up when the holidays are over.
