According to the RMLS Market Action Report for the Portland Metro Area, August, 2019:
There were 3,757 New Listings in August 2019 which was down 10.8% from August of 2018’s 4,214, and 5.3% from the previous month/July’s 3,966.
At 2,901 August 2019’s Closed Sales were down slightly at 2.2% lower than August 2018’s 2,967, and again 1.5% lower than the previous month/July 2019’s total of 2,994 .
August 2019’s Pending Sales(accepted offers), at 2,929 were up 6.1% from August of 2018’s 2,760, but down at bit at 2.3% from the previous month/July 2019’s total of 2,998.
The Average Sale Price in August 2019 of $462,600 was about the same as last year/August 2018’s $462,400, and was down $3,400 from the previous month/July 2019’s $466,000.
The “Median” Sale Price (the price smack dab in the middle of all sales) in August 2019 of $417,500 was up from last year/August 2018’s $407,500 by $10,000, and up $5,900 from the previous month/July 2019’s $411,600 .

There’s a bit of a chill in the air (its just a tease…warm weather will be back!) and a total of 279 homes for sale in Lake Oswego right now. Last week 12 New properties entered the market, 20 moved to Pending status, and 13 were “Closed”/Sold.
