Things picked up in Lake Oswego real estate last week. There were 11 new listings and 5 of those sold in 3 days or less. That tells me that there are buyers chomping at the bit for houses to come onto the market. Those 5 houses that sold so fast appear in this report as pending sales. There were 17 properties in total that entered into pending status as 6 closed transactions.

Market Activity Jan 6-12, 2025

Market activity has picked back up with 12 new listings, 7 pending sales, and 11 closed purchases in Lake Oswego last week. That is about twice what was happening the last couple of weeks of 2024. One of the new listings sold super fast and appears in this report as a pending sale.

I get excited as we come out of the holidays. My phone starts to ring and the energy builds as we move foreword into the new year. I love it!

Because last week included the Christmas holiday, I just don’t expect there to have been much real estate activity. And there wasn’t with 3 houses that came onto the market, 2 that went pending, and 6 that were fully sold with closed contracts.
