Market Activity Sept 24-30, 2018

Last week in Lake Oswego new listings were down to just 13. By the time we get to Christmas they’ll get to as few as 4 or 5. But think about that, even at Christmas folks are listing their homes for sale. The market is always happening! Along with 13 new listings, there were 19 properties that went into pending status and 23 sold/closed sales. 19 pending and 23 sold is right in line with what we’ve had happening since the end of August. This means that the buyers are still out there making offers. This is a great circumstance for selling!

DETACHD refers to Single Family Detached Residence, MFG refers to manufactured housing, and ATTACHD refers to single-family residences with some portion of the structure attached to another property, but not constituting CONDO ownership. DOM stands for days on market, or the number of days from when the listing became active and when it received an acceptable offer, with CDOM standing for “cumulative days on market” accounting for “refreshed” listings.
